'In the competitive theater arena of Los Angeles, where an average of 23 plays premiere a week, writer/producer/critic Ben Pleasants staged his 'The Hemingway/Dos Passos wars' play. While telling the story of two famous writers and their friendship, the camera follows the artists and technical personnel over a two-month period as they vigorously prepare for opening night. We observe the actors, director, producer, fight and dance choreographers, composers, set designers, marketing team and others overcoming various obstacles on a daily basis.'--Container.
