For most of the 20th Century, drug taking was seen as a moral problem; a weakness of will leading inevitably to addiction. Constant Craving explores many of the myths that surround drugs, from nicotine to heroin, alcohol to cocaine, and shows how powerful new treatments can help addicts find a cure. The film includes unique footage of the first human trial of the cocaine vaccine, done by harnessing the body，s own immune system to stop cocaine from ever reaching the brain.
