Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is one of the most widespread diseases in the world. In Britain alone it affects over a million people. Most of its victims are women, but despite its reputation for affecting only older people, it knows no age limits. This programme focuses on research findings and shows how two patients, 49 year-old Denise Smith and 66 year-old Eileen Evans have learned to cope with the disease.
